I want to talk about good pizza. Whether you like Neapolitan, Chicago, New York, Detroit, or some other regional style, a pizza knower knows good pizza and can appreciate it when they first taste it. You just know - once it hits your lips, it's so good. You know what I know? Gatehouse Pizza is that kind of good. Don't overthink this because it's that simple. Big selection of toppings and a variety of specialty pizzas. We had a Medium Pizza and a side of fries. Order was quick and timely, and it came out hot. First bite delivered that goodness I talked about above. Firm enough crust to hold the za without it being floppy, and it held up as we ate it. Sauce was great, cheese was plentiful, as were the toppings. Our side of crinkle fries were just the right amount of crispy and hot, and I think we ate every fry. Gatehouse staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The restaurant itself is big and had a several big parties on a Saturday night. We spent a little time in the game room (pinball was fun) and glanced in the video lottery room. There's also a window into the kitchen so you can see your pizza getting prepared and cooked.
